Time is like the Sea that crashes on the cliffs of mortality,

Eroding the stone until there is nothing left,

Eternally crashing down on rock until it crumbles,

And is torn away from the cliff and swallowed by the raging maelstrom,

Until there is no more time and the Sea dries, and the end comes.
